Myint Soe started painting in 1975 and specializes in oil painting. He gives up both of archival conservation and graphics artist works to concentrate on art which he regards it as his true calling. Having lived abroad, including Malaysia and Singapore, Myint Soe decided to start his own gallery called “Summit Art Collection” in 1995. Myint Soe is also an art Art Consultant and has helped fellow artists exhibit their works overseas. In his mission to promote Myanmar art, Myint Soe has been involved in exhibitions and art fairs in UK, France, Switzerland, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea. Recent years, he has also extended his hand to Japan and Taiwan. Myint Soe, artist him-self forte lies in impressionistic landscape compositions but his continuing overseas exposure has had a more contemporary outlook. Recently his horse-racing paintings are popular among his collectors. He participated in over seventy group art exhibitions and five solo exhibitions.
